Phantom on the Catwalk
Iglide silently through the crowd Translucent. A phantom on the catwalk As they shimmer past A veil of beauty Effortless Vibrant and dripping in turquoise And draped in orange that peels About their bronzed, tinkling ankles. I catch my face in the wall of mirrors That adorns them. As they ripple, Icontort, distort.
