·ChilledSunshine

I'm leaving you. I just thought you should know... These tears I cry belong to you no more. Please take your excuses and eggshells, and walk out through that door. I can't tiptoe anymore. My feet hurt from all these circles. My eyes ache from too much weight. It's too late. I won't wait anymore. I need more than just clouds and dandelion fuzz. I really thought you were The One. But the fog is clearing, and I am growing weary. I won't hunt you down anymore. You left and I found you with a crown. You put it on my head, but now it's pushing me down. I think it's time for a battle cry to rouse. I won't sleep in your hands anymore. I'm leaving you. I'm gone. I've eaten all the breadcrumbs, and hidden the sun. You won't find me anymore. If it is the difference between dying and being dead, I choose death. If it is the difference between walking and running, I'll sprint. I'll go 'til there's no breath left. My lungs can burst, but I can rest. So yes, I'm leaving you. Now. Here I go. Just as soon as I can. Let go of your hand. Please let me go, so I can…
