POEM FOR JOSHUA * As I wonder and stare at your sweetlittle face, I wonder what's in store for you in your life? * Your little tiny hands drawn up like two fists like a boxer who's waiting for his round in the fifth * Your head like a bowl cradled in my hand as your tiny little body movesby your command * Your eyes begin to flutter as you dream your little dreams. Your mouth begins to quiver your cry a tiny bleat * Your eyes begin to open as you begin to focus. and you stare into my eyes like you can see inside my soul * You stretch again and then you give out a tiny yawn You used every ounce of strength you had on your journey coming in * As you go limp, your eyes begin to shut and thus begin your angel dreams again I wonder what in heaven's name what does a baby dream? * WordPlaya, June 2006
