Poison On The Rocks VIII
Eventually Blake fell asleep Because his eyes were itching with tiredness Kind of like the symptoms Of a human’s seasonal sinuses Then he woke up the next morning and Once again he was staring at the ring He was furious and he felt like Their little fling didn’t mean a thing Then Lizzy woke up and Attempted to kiss him on the lips But he just turned away He didn’t wanna kiss that selfish bitch Lizzy said “So now you know That I’m married I should have told you.” “Why didn’t you tell me Lizzy? I was just getting to know you.” Lizzy said “Blake baby I can explain You don’t have to Lizzy You’ve already caused me enough pain.” “But Blake you’re blowing things Way out of proportion.” “How could you just go and slice my heart Up into little bitty portions Since when is it okay for you to cheat? Spreading numerous lies and tricks of deceit “Look Blake I’m a swinger it’s what I do and If it makes you feel any better My husband is okay with it too.” “We’re both swingers We see other people all the time But don’t worry Blake You’re always on my mind Blake just stood there bewildered Trying to make sense of it all He built this relationship Only to watch it fall By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
