Pondering the mysteries of the Universe Another day in the rock pool. gazing up through briny mist, lapped by the tickling ebb of low tide, evading the probing beaks of gulls, the prods of excited, pink faced monsters, dragging nets and poking with sticks. Passing shrimp, caught in a salty stare, exchanges no pleasantries as claw snaps! And decapod is consumed, as light brunch. Galloping horses of high tide leap the pebble fences Lifting and transporting those not anchored. Crab is safely moored below his rock, Waiting, and wondering About the mystery universe Beyond the briny mist.
