Prepare to Die
Prepare to die, sounds so cold Dark-shaded thoughts persistently sold Tainted certainties forced to trust Fooled of pure while breathing lust Enveloped by the uncontrolled "Do as thou wilt," many has told Pockets emptied from life's great toll The whole while knowing I must Prepare to die. Pride blinded by vanity's hold Flashes of doubt mirrors my soul Forces of nature forming rust Imperfect, but, I must, I must Prepare to die.
