Pride Be Not Proud By: Laigan Ahkee Conceived in my father’s mind, You caused me to die. In my lifeyou planted a seed, a seed that grew into strife You gave her your holy water, You both sipped as you dinned. Then you beat her black and blue, Even when you promised her, your VOWES to be true. Pride be not proud. Be gone from our lives, and live no more. Burn in eternal flames where the scum of life live forever more. You think you've got life, but yet you fooled, It’s you’re wine that made you all mighty the people you inflict have but only allowed you to rule. Without an apology you enter and leave at my dismay. You've caused me an untimely demise and left me that way. What is it that you live for, without a life of your own? Without a heart to grow in, without a mind to control? You’re but only a name.Although you come at a cost. Bow down before my Father his already paid for my loss. Pride be not proud although you eager to sin. You caused memuch bitterness that I hold within.
