Pride & Prejudice

The proud mountain enthroned in majesty challenged the ocean to scale his height His titanic peaks are the gateway to heaven through them he shows his might. The ocean enraged by this audacity proclaimed "I can drown you to my depths" "If I unleash my true form" "Nothing in this world would be left." "My landslides can cause unfathomable destruction If once I show my fury." "Yet, my beauty shines through my glorious peaks when the sun comes out with glory." The ocean answered in strong rebuke "I can engulf the earth as a whole." "Yet, my vastness undefined by the horizon can touch every living soul." The sun was smiling all the while to see both of them swell in pride In quiet retort, the sun replied "Without me you both would have died." All of your beauty and might would disappear if I choose to play the mounts would be bare and the ocean bland If I refuse to shine in the day. And so this battle continued as prejudice soared high in the sky only the mortals prayed to plead them all winning here is worthless to try.
