Promise
Isn't it like digging into a ripe melon with a spoon? Like young toes curling almost too good to be true The juicy aroma hits the nose with the right tones With tightly set flesh just begging to be unleashed It is undeniable once you've set your eyes upon it You know what you are looking at as the mind fades And with much to say you find yourself speechless Watching the light colors taking on a prime state The shape of the fruit is beyond perfect dimensions You feel like you have to dig in to become enthralled Commanded by a calling from within the deep beyond And you answer to this all-consuming performance It is full of all the wondrous paths that it still contains That by heart you may choose whichever to navigate To be beyond yourself as you take each lovely bite What sweetness it is to see this promise delivered!
