Quick Getaway
I wish I had a trampoline, so I can jump right in2 the sky. I’ll jump so high until i reach the sky and daydream on top of the clouds. And see the birds as they flutter by and not worry about any other interruptions, but the sound of the comforting wind. The ray of sun it gives on my brown, caramel skin. Everything serene and peaceful without the chatter of people. In your mind as you lay and think of beautiful life as you see it there. No worries or cares. Just fortunate to be where you are. And lay there until night reaches and stare at the stars. Escaping all your problems and fears. You and only you. Without arguments and tears. Without sadness and misery. The feeling of gloom and melancholy. The negatives don’t exist. The people don’t exist. It’s just you and the clouds, in the sky, as you see it now. Don’t care for nothing more. Just know that the protected sky will be there for you and other tomorrows. And when you feel any type of sorrow, just hop on your trampoline and escape all the insanity. For the sky will be your aid and there will be no more injury. For you have escaped that world and entered your own hideaway. A place you can call home and stay.
