Rain

As dark clouds come together Blaze of lightning, flashing the skies Heart thumping sound and its over, I raise my head with grin on my face, As it pours down from heaven above Giving sweet memories of someone I love, Each drop of rain that fall on my palm, Reminding me of a face so calm. Here I stand with hands apart; Where are you my love ? my only part. I close my eyes to think of you, I pray to Lord and sing a blue. At last the rain has given up ! All hopes and dreams are closing up. So silent I can hear my own heart, Pumping and chanting for you my heart. Sun now peeks out giving golden light, Wonderful rain which now has brought, Sadness on my face thinking it might rain no more As I open my eyes to see I saw you standing right next to me, You turned to me and hugged me hard, Resting your head on my shoulder Feeling so happy yet so sad, As tears start rolling down your cheek, Clouds begin to rumble again As it pours down from heaven again.
