Rat Race
We live in a nation where we are free To do the things we do without penalty and we shout and holler about incivility Are we living in fantasy or is this reality? We tried to explain the reason for our action And then it creates mass chaos and dissatisfaction Attempting to articulate our different perception People feel threatened and in fear of deception. How do we voice our different position Without fearing any dangerous retribution? Should we emphatically object and be bold Or do we just remain withdrawn and remote? I fear that if we don't try to change things now Our people will suffer the consequences somehow It is imperative that we start mending our ways But can we really escape from this reckless rat race?
