Raw, Unspoken message

I remember the look that was in your eyes when we met on the street that day The reflection of desolation, Your wife had gone away. Your war torn disposition left nothing more to say; Your 'Shattered City' persona showed That your wife had gone away. You were trying so hard to be strong but you were a dishevelled display No thought other than this one was..... "My wife has gone away" No longer were you self assured your eyes would always betray The isolation you were feeling since your wife had gone away Joy had left along with her the sky was always grey your life companion no longer here, your wife had gone away. This journey you must travel alone trapped in this web of dismay The comfort of others matters little because your wife had gone away. I was lost for words to hearten you All I could do was pray that God would somehow comfort you since your wife had gone away. (30/7/13).
