Reading (A Villanelle)
Reading (A Villanelle) The eyes are what plant the seed. When windows are open, things fly out unaware. One quick glance is all I need. Though a child's book is not hard to read, You are even less complex, to my despair. The eyes are what plant the seed. I may seem naive, but please take heed; I don’t take too kindly to being stripped bare. One quick glance is all I need. The gift of sight can be a blessing indeed; My disgust for you grows each second you stare. The eyes are what plant the seed. I would vomit afterwards if I chose to feed The lust your eyes so willingly share. One quick glance is all I need. As you strut over here, ready to take the lead You illiterate fool, I’m saying don’t dare… The eyes are what plant the seed. One quick glance is all I need.

My poems are a random and unclassified way of deciphering the imagination. Enjoy.
