Reckoning

·Fairy

To live every day with reckoning of doubt, To be almost completely left out, To know that you are alone, And left to think the world out on your own, To wake up with a smile, That’s hidden beneath roofs of self-denial, To shed a tear, And tell your loved ones to have no fear, To yield yourself from protection, And lead yourself into self deception, To wonder who, what, where and why? To think that every breathe you take is a lie, To kick the ground you stand on, And think that the days that you shone are gone, To illuminate your nightmares, And believe the nastily shot stares, Is all to come to realise, That you have been living with shut eyes, Which leads you to silently, Remove the knifes impiety, And grin with the fact that you cry, Because you know that someday you will take off and fly.
