Recognized Brilliance, Unrecognized Talent

Jeffries His name is Glenn McCrary And his brilliance is what they see His talent goes unrecognized But it is recognized by me Deep within his heart Is where his true talent lies That’s why when you read his poems They bring tears to your eyes Why must his talent Constantly be denied I mean at least he comes Out of his shell to try There is no reason For him to lie And that is why He never hides For he has a neverending Passionate fire inside Because his poetry is such A wonderful thing And every time I hear it It makes me want to sing His love of poetry Is like an unbreakable ring Just make a wish And a miracle is what it will bring And that is why I am happy to say That his talents will soon Be discovered someday By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
