Rediscovery

Walk with me That I may remember How friendship tastes. Journey into my soul With timid dreams And watch the silence Scorn screams of hatred. Let me find my memories With its footprints Tainted with blessed nightmares Of who I am. I have mourned a past Not lived, shaded only With colours disdained By destiny. I have watched night Catch glimpses of falling stars As this madness cries for freedom. Let me take your hand And bowgraciously to eternity Finding the courage To live through life’s shadow And find sanity somewhere in tomorrow.
