Reincarnation
She gently lays me down to sleep within her shielding arms. In a thousand years from now I will awake with nature’s balms, when, yet again, I shall be born for further lessons to be learned; each life a step up from the last, a gift each time that I have earned. As with my past lives, I will die to live once more through every test, but now I simply close my eyes; the time is here for treasured rest.
