Let me remind you of why I am here. Let me whisper in your unwilling ear Remember the time that you forgot me remember the time that I let you leave Remember the people that you hold so dear remember the letter that left them in fear Remember the tears that you shed for me you cried in tongues, help me! help me! Remember that bag, the one you took with you Remember that doorway that you stepped across Remember those words, bye mum. bye dad. Remember that lie, I'll be back Remember that stride, with which you ran Remember the fear that made you return Remember the tears that welled in their eye Remember their arms stretched out wide Remember your shoulder turned at them Remember the pain you put them all through Remember the only one who could've stopped you I hold your guilt I hide your pain I keep your regret I am you Remember me Don't you ever forget! I wrote this poem while reminded of my regret. Sorry It doesn't rhyme. I just wanted to write it.
