Remembering Jack
we miss his terse humour' His economy of speech, The skills that he extended where others coulden't reach. He displayed a unique talent Even as an infant boy, Preferring sketching pencil To transitory toy. He excelled at wood work school, The top of every class Of every school around the Fylde None could his gifts surpass. Beloved of his master As one had been before, Remembererd years after As top pupil and more. He inspired a quiet confidence In all who sought his advice And spoke beyond there knowledge Much to there suprise. His industry was boundless, Inventiveness the spur, To which his spirit responded More of an intellectual than one of common ground. He was the family's Gill of skill, With Christian name of Jack And for me this will always be Synonymouse with knack. i did not write this it was one of my late family who is now dead. im thinking about submitting all his poems in his memory he has had some of his work published but i would love to here what people think about his writing, so i will perhaps be a ghost writer for him as an alias but always let everyone know it isnt me that wrote the poems,is this a good idea?please let me know what you think.
