Remnant
Thinking of those before her, she clutched the cold barrel to her heart. Mumbling an incoherent apology, She closed her eyes and moved the trigger. Her limp body hit the ground, a soft thud that followed the bang. An angry blot spilled from her open heart , and victoriously, marched, across her white dress. And from the crevice of her fading cherry lips dangled a red ribbon, it caressed the asphalt and pooled together in a reflective mass. A remnant of her final goodbye.
