There was a time I felt weaker A time when I was meeker A time I needed to seek A special thing to make me unique I knew what it was I needed I knew I needed to succeed Although I had no idea How I would fulfill that deed I searched my soul for answers I found nothing there But the same old attempts I found my soul bare So I took a new approach Where I decided not to compare But look at every opportunity As a future waiting there I promise, if you forget to compare You’ll find happiness it’s true You’ll realize what you’ve been looking for Was right in front of you Use what you know you’re good at When you approach any task And soon you’ll see which way to turn You’ll never need to ask So when a battle arises It’s time to pause and reflect Time to test your character And gain your self-respect Just realize that the choice Is one you have to make And as long as you leave stronger It’s never a mistake
