Resurrection
Resurrection As a child, beheld his soul, He saw the beauty, to behold, He gazed intently, at the sky, His dreams did soar, so far and wide. His sights and hopes, were that of gold, His heart cried out, for love so bold, As time drew on, he ne'er asked why, When others spoke, of dreams denied. Then as a man, beheld his soul, He looked for beauty, to behold, He found none there, nor in the sky, He wondered where, dreams go awry. And then one day, with hope he strolled, His heart woke up, from love grown cold, For in that moment, he felt alive, And suddenly, his hope revived. Now as he lets, his life unfold, He sees the beauty, to behold, Again he sees, the sky so high, And finds once more, that he can fly.
