So sorry all! I know I posted this yesterday, and it was blank!! Trying again. Tropic's Song Humidity chokes the air The rain - a drizzle - slick with warmth sweeps in through the open twelfth floor window where I stand The moon is a wet glow on your cheek - the one not in shadows The pulsation of heat lightening - blue, yellow, orange - plays a tragedy for me in your eyes Hand on my arm, my wrist Brushing my fingers... A pale glow flickers across the clouds' bellies I taste sweet, salty breeze feel low, stretching rumbles A hypnotic story in my ear - like theocean through a seashell No more rain One endless exhale A whistle of balmy wind tangling my hair Trembling waterdrops stretch and fall - in rhythms - from the roof Theirs are the last notes of a late night tropic song Hand to my cheek my eyes close with the endless breath I almost can't recall you leaving... No more thunder No more wind Only the hum of a tropic night I stare at the ocean caressing the swollen yellow moon I wonder for the lonely stars where their lovers might be I smile at the fantasy of a sultry night's tropical song

Right now I'm in nursing school, but writing always was and always will be my first love. Oh, and I love anything bizarre!!
