REWRITE: Time (Edit 1)

Time Time can go fast, Time can go slow, Yet it cannot stop. You wish it would, So you could stay in a moment Where words run dry. Where two hearts Play their own special rhythm. Like the perfect moment I had with you. We held hands In a crisp, clear moonlight. Swam in a sea of dreams, Which only we were part of. It felt like time stood still. Maybe it did. If only for that one day Where we giggled like children, Flew like birds, Floated on air. It was breathtaking. Time was ours. It had no concept. We took every second, Every minute, Every hour. We turned it into our own. Before you know it, The perfect moment has gone. The memories we shared Wilt like old, forgotten flowers. Time moves forwards, We stay frozen. A sculpture on the hands of time. I believe everyone has a moment Where time actually stands still. That one perfect moment with you is mine.
