·thewatcher

Brick by brick, I emerge from the rubble, Knowing that the road ahead is littered with trouble Whilst clambering up the mountain of life, I was oblivious to the impending strife To detach myself exacerbated the pain, Emerging from the darkness caused much strain The journey was long and testing, No time or place for resting The doors to life were thrust open wide, Now I had no place to hide Expecting not be seen, You proved to be keen It’s time again to feel alive, It’s time to take control and drive. *My mind went completely blank and the final four lines are weak. The message is there but it needs improvement. Thought I'd post for opinions in the meantime.*
