Risk or Regret

Perhaps our pride doesn't fade; Maybe it hasn't helped us; No effort has been made; It might not be worth the fuss, but; Perhaps we ought to learn; Exactly what its worth; To attempt for what we yearn; For the truth to be unearthed. Perhaps we will regret; So cowardly hiding away; A feeling we won't forget; And the words we long to say. Perhaps this plight will fall; And leave one or two hearts broken; But, perhaps each day our fate eludes us; While not one single word is spoken. **This is a song about that shy, but desperate feeling you get when you have an absoloutely giant infatuation for a stranger** Written by TuesdayFive (2009)
