rock of insomnia
when you go walking outside to find yourself out upon the heath you have the presence of mind to find the difference that lies in between the normal dry and barren earth and that of the wet imprint left by the rock you just turned over on this vast plane where men are all like stones planted forever shining up to the sky light reflecting off bald heads and from where you stand now they all look the same spread out scattered equilaterally broad but underneath one tends to find the telling of a different story saying much about what rock is for here now you see in the moist finger print of where it once lay the paths of ants and homes of beetle of worms and slithering things that took refuge in the pressure of the weight of the stone you remember walking away from
