Rose Grave Side
I wished apon a rose one night Kept the sun,within my sight Wished for love with all my might That everything, would be alright. Felt a thorn, which pierced my side Reminded me, the times i've cried for all the world, whose ever lied And all the times, i've ever shied I wished for everything in time For all the good in every crime That pain and joy would never rhyme That every mountain i'll ever climb would show me the joy of innocenteyes and teardrops rained from starry skies For all the love that could despise Every heart that ever lies I wished with everything inside That in the end, love would subside I crept unto my roses sight and saw with dread within the night What I wished, would ne\\'er be right i wept until i was bathed in light the garden wept, as i sighed the night when all the roses died...
