Rosemary's Kiss
My heart wandered to Worchestershire, To see what love she had for me, But I never will set her near my fire, The longing inside won't let it be. My need for this, My Rosemary's kiss. Mythoughts flew off to Chili, once, Exotic dreams of warmth and such. But I could never stray so far, The season here is loved too much For when my supper turns to black, I always want my darling back. Without her I should feel the lack, And want for this, The thing I'd miss. I want and need my Rosemary's kiss. And I shall never spend the thyme, with Pepper or that other Jerk. I have no need of a rack to climb. I know what I want after each day's work. I want the scent. I need the burn. The taste of her makes love return With coal and fire, one thing I've learned, Is love for this, The sweetest bliss, My darling Rosemary's kiss.

TheCrookedPath
Not much to say. I'm a father of four, working to keep my pygmies fat and happy. I have always liked Robert Frost, but a recent book that I'd stumbled across introduced me to John Donne.
