Rosyth Playlist

Two things worth noting: -Rosyth is pronounced 'Roh-Sigh-th'. It is a Scottish town. -'take a leak' is Uk slang for going to the toilet. Lewd, but useful. 'Rosyth Playlist'; music turns to tears, A catalogue of songs that I haven't heard in years. But are they years that passed me by Or simply feelings underloved that died? Brush the dust from loving bones, Admire what was whilst on your own. Maybe cock your head and think 'What if...' ...you ran right back and kissed me in the lift. You should muse upon it; as you think I'll take a leak and grab a drink, For two long years our feelings grew, I know that I look good on you, (And I think that you know it, too) Throw caution to the winds, you fool. 'Rosyth Playlist' makes me think of hope, The four-day weekend at your house when you threw me the rope. I climbed with greed and lust baked long, Eating your words made you strong, I wonder where that man has gone? Once again, I guess we'll see! Fate is scheming constantly, throwing you right into me. So on my train, September Ten I'll make a playlist - maybe when the songs play on my journey long My hopes will stay where they belong. Just remember - fourteen steps Splits my door, your door; effortless.
