Rover...
My love and I... Strolled arm-in-arm! Dandy passed by... Just oozing charm! He doffed his hat... Face beaming smiles! Like Cheshire cat... Memory riles! Oh! alley oops! Her glove does fall! Then the dude swoops... Plenty of gall! Thank you, kind sir... My pleasure, ma'm! (Smarmy damn cur... Wish he would scram!) Join us for tea? You are too kind! ('Twere up to me... Kick his behind!) Suave and polished... Sure knows the ropes! Now demolished... There go my hopes! His laughing eyes Did turn her on! With dude as prize... She said: be gone! Really felt low... For quite a while! And then...hello, Back with big smile! Where is the toff? Away with veneer! Please do not scoff... I am back, dear! No! 'tis all over... Had fingers burnt! Go! lady rover... My lesson learnt! We're hand in hand, Just strolling by! Life is so grand... New love and I!
