Running after Dad You can stay here with me… Or go. It’s your choice.’ You must make a decision By command of her voice. ‘Go now and catch up!’ Sharp tone holds a force; Dead eyes do not want you; Slight smile says Divorce; To the end of the path Where dogs choose to graze; Do you see father figure? Quick boy, look both ways! It’s too late, there’s no sign; No hero to follow; Go back to the dead eyes; Grow angry, grow hollow.
