Salvation(He)

As the world gets sucked into the vortex of despair A presence of darkness consuming our air We try to run, we try to hide But it doesn't work, as our mortal thoughts collide Reaching out, shouting out with our last breath As we slink into the shadows of our eternal death Satan's wishes on earth are satisfied As we forget the raging furnace that hell provides Do we know, or do we just pretend That we fully understand hell, will never end Unknown to us, is our eternal damnation After that final judgment day, our final confrontation The weary lost souls ,blinded to where their path will lead Their spirits are truly dead, why won't they believe They can be set free, from their bondage in sin Reunite with the Father, who was previously distant They can lay down their burdens, of guilt, pain, and fear They can give Him all their troubles, all their worries, all their tears They can fully rely on Him, with every problem, every need Just call on the name of Jesus, and watch the devil flee Just let go, of all these worldly things He knows the pressure, the temptation it brings But He will give you peace, beyond all comprehension Despite the constant worldly battles, He will absorb the tension He gives faithful promise, of a glorious eternal ending When he comes back down, in the same way He ascended He brings a new meaning, to a happily ever after He brings joy, forgivess, happiness, and laughter To those that love Him, he promises to protect And even those around His followers, will feel the effect The shocking sweet taste of victory, to know you've overcome The prince of darkness, who has the world wrapped around his thumb Most joke around, but some are serious Willing to learn, about God's creation so mysterious The wonders of His love, not a single soul can fathom I stand in awe, as his indescribable wonders keep unraveling I stand before the Almighty, the God Jehovah Jireh He is the answer, my Saviour, my provider He loves you, more than you could imagine ever He wants to be your stronghold and shelter, to face this eternity together Note: I don't know if you noticed but the "He" 's are capitalized.. It’s because it has to be!!!
