I lay on the dune I looked at the starry night sky When you were young you played on the beach You were my beautiful daughter so I kept you in my arms reach Sara, you grew into a beautiful lady with a sublime life So easy to look at, so hard to define I can still see you playin' with your pail in the sand You run to the water your bucket to fill I can still see the shells fallin' out of your hands As they follow each other back up the hill Sara my sweet angel, sweet loving daughter of my whole life You feared nothing not even the dark of the night It's all so clear, i could never forget Loving you from a baby right through your life How were we to know that your life would be cut short Why God took you i can only say one word Taking you from us is so ( absurd ) We will meet up in heaven one day We will talk forever for i have more than enough words Our mist time will be made up by every single of words This is creative writing i have done for Patty I know when you're going through grief words mean nothing but this is so little of an effort but after losing my beautiful niece i can relate to her loss in a small way considering Patty lost her daughter I hope you like it Patty and i hope writing this towards you and your deceased daughter is not overstepping or intruding from my place My heart's love and soul go out to you Patty and your family Love Michael Potter
