Scorpio Sings of Spring
Her eyes spoke of pain, deep recesses Transfixed me in their wanton glory Soft yearning skin, butterfly carresses Transfixed me in their wanton glory Ravenous, her sanguine swoon As light crept through the blinds Lupine cries to a falling moon As light crept through the blinds Come a little closer Scorpio Your poison tastes so sweet Don't let this wandering archer go Feel this arrow's heat We're just two jade menageries Our fragments were intwined Free from the burdens of our memories Our fragments were intwined A furnace fueled by fine red wine Will cauterize our wounds Its Hellenistic, Hedonistic design Will cauterize our wounds Your floral smile lets me know that Spring is drawing near But alone I must elope For Spring is not quite here
