Seasons (Acrostic)
Songbird’s dulcet serenades Praise the sylvan floors, Rivers run like renegades Into weaving shores. Nuzzled in the safety of nature’s splendid palace Growing life begins to sip from her ancient chalice. Sparrows play with gravity Under skies azure, Mimicking longevity Midst the green allure. Eternity beguiles the heart with delightful tales, Reveries regale the mind; harmony prevails. Afternoons evade like thieves- Umbrage sails the breeze Tussling the fallen leaves Under hazel trees. Midnights spent in solitude, strolling through the past, Nightmares flash the wriath time, moving all too fast. Wrathful blizzards grip the earth In their arctic vise Neutralizing distant mirth- Turning all to ice. Evanescing through the dark, life begins to flee, Rendering to myth your dreams of eternity.
