Seize the Moment
Hey, you, yes, you over there, feeding the cat or washing the evening’s dishes, listen up to what I say, the moment that you are in will never come again, cats will be fed and dishes will be washed., but each time this happens, however mundane it might be, will also be a different and distinct act something only you of 109 billion people who have walked the earth before you and the billions who will sweep you away when the time is right have done it exactly as you are doing and it will become a part of your past, that vast tightly locked vault of things both large and small that you've done and that have been done to you, the ingredients of the you you are, so celebrate these moments of the past now in the present as you would a newborn child before they cede their diminished import to the uncertain future, seize the moment before the moment is gone.
