My thoughts on you have faded, Heart won't beat the same, I try so hard to remember But can't recall your name The rainclouds gather about my head Projected to clear until I'm dead So I scream at you to wake up But they fall on your deaf ears, The voice inside me breaking down And I can't control my tears, Am standing on the very edge The darkness calls below, I need you now to take my hand More than you'll ever know The rainclouds gather about my head Projected to clear until I'm dead I look deep, probing Those indifferent eyes, No smile to cover No mask to create lies, I speak to you like a child Hoping to break through, What lies in the mirror To a previously better you But the rainclouds gather about my head Projected to clear until I'm dead
