Serene Lullaby

Written by Glenn McCrary & Smurfie Poo I can feel the sand caressing my toes As the wind kisses my passion to escape The sea so gentle-yet ever so rough Although many smile here, others do come here to die. These smiles fade as quickly as they appear Holding onto no long term sacrifices The sea in itself is a deadly poison Breathe in a gasp of air- and face the chances of a salty kiss of death. Polluting my lungs with its virulent breath A war of such great turbulence - Shall I let go and be hushed to sleep ? Just let the tide gently sweep me away ?
