Settling In
Swollen darkness settles on my soul as I sit against the window pain My cold reflection stares back at me as the rain spills down my face I am breaking down in my unsettled silence emotion quivering in my belly Unspoken words, lost in the displeasure of the ghosts I face I cannot ever be whole Always have this twisting sadness pulling me in Competing in tears with the rain
