Shadow in the dark

A puff of cloud escapes the graves, And you will need to prepare to be brave, As it will give you a big fright, When it enters your house during the night. Don’t scream when you hear a bark, Because it could be the shadows lurking in the dark. If you hear a creaking sound of the doors, Make sure you conceal yourself in the floors. A shadow is creeping behind you, Never look back otherwise it will scare you. The shadow terrifies you in your sleep, And it gives nightmares in your dream. You want to fight your worst nightmare, You are not prepared, unless someone gives you a dare. Note: This poem is about how I use to be afraid in the dark and how I got over it and as it says in the final 2 lines You want to fight your worst nightmare, You are not prepared, unless someone gives you a dare. basically that someone was my uncle who helped me get over my fears
