She. She rarely leaves my thoughts Reflected in others In stories in songs Among creatures in unison The way we still should be Consuming my world Amid my dreams Distressing my soul I hate her for leaving Love her for what’s passed I regret I could not complete her Failed to see her departing Did not find the right words Let frustration mask my affection Made what was mine my foe So long now since gone Wish that I was times master Whilst love in full bloom Retained her hand in mine Let not her love die Win back her admiration That path is now gone The desire still haunts me A piece of me still hers Dissuades loves chances To find a way out This labyrinth, this maze Banish her phantom Give love to another Reminiscence erased
