She Never Thought

She never thought her blunders she could repeat, She never thought herself she could defeat, She never thought her memories she could beat. She used to think she was strong, Able to let what has passed go, But she was terribly wrong, For she is living in sorrow, not thinking of tomorrow She made a promise, To live in complete happiness, And holy bliss But she never thought her own vow she could break, She never thought she’d redo, That one little mistake, That will forever make her blue.
