SHE SLEEPS ALONE
SHE SLEEPS ALONE * She sleeps alone again without husband who will be occupied elsewhere tonight * She feels painful slumber, as she knows the reason why she sleeps alone * His lover is fascinating, she cannot compete. A constant barrage of noise and heat. * The stories his lover tells go on all night flickering on about things he likes like war and cars And sports And machine shops with scantily clad Girls. * Things she knows nothing about, the why of war? what makes them go? And yet she knows Yes, she knows tonight again, She will sleep alone. * WordPlaya, April 2009
