She struggles
She came in stumbling Wearing a trouble gripped face And a sluggish smile pasted Sliding grief to her teeth And spat it out like venom A look in her eyes brought tears For a grief stricken pair That looked back in a stair In reflection of her pain infested heart The once adored like a baby Coughed up the spiteful phrase Ending an era of adoration Final to the unbelieving soul .
