His cheeky smirk The phone rings His corny jokes It will be him His diet Cokes Yes, hello His morning walk ‘Can I help you?’ His pillow talk ‘Yes, speaking’ His cheery smile Yes he lives here His gentle style ‘The police?’ His dimpled chin ‘I’m his wife’ His naughty grin ‘There’s a problem?’ His easy ways ‘What’s happened?’ His misty gaze ‘The motorway?’ His love so true ‘An accident? His eyes of blue The City Morgue!
