Shock Me Like and Electric Feel
My first stab at free verse Goodbye Matthew You were just a bit too soon Dad is torn apart Not like you could help it Goodbye Mom Take that last sip of Jack Leave us here alone Erase all your pain with an electric feel Goodbye Pawpaw It finally took over your brain You drowned in your own saliva Disease cut you from end to end Goodbye Uncle Weldon Just like Pawpaw only faster Though your stubbornness let you win Now there is eternal healing Goodbye Uncle Don Cancer just plain sucks You fought so long and almost won But in the end it annihilated you Goodbye Jake Thirteen years never seemed so fast You really liked those knees Of Dogs you were the best Goodbye Grandma Death always comes in threes Except you made it four in four months You had time to prepare, blessed
