ShopGirl Smile Rummaging for change and waiting in the Que I hear some shout next and suddenly I see you With a radiant smile and even brighter eyes My thoughts turn to you and away from lifes demise Our snippet in time is a moment stolen Quickly its all over but im stood still. Frozen A special kind of beauty in an unexpected place Shopgirls smile lighting up her face What is it with you? Why am I so hooked? been this place loads of times but you I'd overlooked Standing in your uniform looking so pristeen A vision behind the counter as if summoned from a dream Each day I return hoping to catch your eye Building up the courage to speak you but letting the chance pass by Walking away full of regret but vowing to return a lesson of which i know that i very much must learn Do I ever tell her about the way I feel? Should i take a gamble and see if its for real Will she feel the same or run a country mile All these questions raised by a flash of a shopgirls smile.
