Shopping

·James Gordon

The wife said I'm going shopping to get some clothes for you. I said please don't get me anything in dark green, grey, or blue. I just want to be noticed when I come into view. Not blend into the background in things dark green, grey, or blue. Get me something that's spectacular like palm trees on some foreign shore. A shirt with flowers, birds, or animals, or butterflies galore. Get me a t-shirt that's exotic like the surfers in Hawaii do. Or a shirt with huge Giraffes on like the ones in Chester zoo. Don't go to Marks and Spencer for colour, they do not do. How am I to cut a dash in dark green, grey, or blue. So darling do your shopping but I will have my say. I might be some old codger but not dressed in dark blue, green, or grey. Note. Marks and Spencer are shops that sell their own branded goods, so men's clothing tends to be a bit drab.
